About Toot

What Toot is

Toot is a used car marketplace. Dealers list their stock with us, and you can browse it, get a recommendation based on the car you drive now, and contact the dealer directly by enquiry or phone.

We do not sell cars ourselves. Every car is sold by the dealer named on its listing, and you agree the sale with them.

Powered by BookMyGarage

Toot is run by the team behind BookMyGarage, which helps drivers book MOTs, servicing and repairs with garages across the UK. That is why your BookMyGarage account is also your Toot account.

How we pick cars for you

When you use Find my match, we look up the car you drive now from its registration and compare it with the live stock on Toot. We weigh things like size and body style, age, mileage and price, and show the cars that would be a sensible step up, with the reasons we chose them. Add your postcode and we only suggest cars within 100 miles.

We do not guess. If nothing in stock is a good enough match, we say so and ask a few questions instead, or you can browse all cars yourself.
